The Rainbow Shark is a striking bottom-dwelling species famed for its sleek, dark grey-to-black body paired with brilliant orange-red fins. It acts as an active, territorial scavenger that continuously inspects rockwork and leaves for bio-film and food scraps. Due to its territorial nature toward similar bottom-dwellers and conspecifics, it should be kept as a single specimen in a spacious aquarium outfitted with plenty of caves, rocks, and driftwood boundaries.
