The Blue Danio is an energetic and hardy schooling fish displaying a shimmering powder-blue to turquoise body accented by fine golden-orange horizontal lines. Constantly in motion near the upper levels of the water column, they bring lively activity to community aquariums. They require an aquarium with open swimming room and a secure lid, as their fast-swimming nature makes them prone jumpers.
