The Nubios Professional gravel cleaner siphons fish waste, detritus, and uneaten food out of the gravel while you drain water. A basket on the intake helps keep gravel, small fish, and invertebrates in the tank. Prime it by hand or with a pump. Do not start it by mouth.

Key features

Intake basket to block gravel, small fish, and invertebrates
Flow can be slowed for fine substrate, or run harder on coarse gravel
Clear rigid pipe, so you can see the waste leaving the bed
Flexible vinyl hose that resists kinks

Water and system compatibility

Freshwater and marine.

Sizes

Size	Use
Small	Nano, shrimp, and shallow tanks
Medium	35 cm pipe, for mid-sized tanks
Large	Wider intake, for deeper tanks

Directions

Put a bucket on the floor, lower than the tank. The siphon runs by gravity.
Sink the clear pipe in the water, with the tip toward the gravel.
Prime the siphon so water runs into the bucket.
Push the pipe into the gravel. Waste goes up the tube and the gravel drops back. Lift it slightly, then move to the next spot.
Drain the hose, rinse the parts in tap water, and dry them out of direct sun.

Always follow directions on product packaging.
