The Yellow Tang is one of the most iconic fish in the aquarium hobby, reaching a Max Size of 20 cm. It is instantly recognizable by its solid, brilliant lemon-yellow body and white tail spine. These fish are incredibly active and spend their days darting through rockwork in search of algae. Due to conservation efforts and export restrictions in Hawaii, they have become more exclusive, with many now being sustainably captive-bred. They are hardy and generally peaceful, but like all Zebrasoma, they can be very territorial toward other tangs with a similar body shape.
