Overview
A close relative of the Chili Rasbora, the Phoenix Rasbora is another highly popular micro-fish among Aussie hobbyists. Instead of a solid horizontal stripe, the Phoenix features a prominent, dark oval blotch on its side, surrounded by a vibrant, glowing halo of orange and crimson. The rest of its translucent body is flushed with warm red tones. They are a timid, gentle schooling species that feels most secure in heavily planted tanks with dim lighting or floating plants, making them another top-tier choice for dedicated shrimp setups.
