Overview
The Chili Rasbora is an absolute superstar in the Australian nano-tank and shrimp-keeping scene. As a true "micro-fish," mature specimens rarely exceed 2 cm in length. Dominant males develop a jaw-dropping, solid ruby-red body accented by a sharp, iridescent black stripe along their flank. Because of their tiny size, they have a minuscule bioload and are perfectly suited for small desktop aquariums. They are incredibly peaceful and are one of the very few fish that can be safely housed alongside breeding colonies of premium freshwater dwarf shrimp.
