The Timor Wrasse, also known as the Timor Green Wrasse, is an active and highly beneficial addition to reef and community marine aquariums. Displaying a beautiful mosaic of bright orange, green, and red mottling across a sleek body, it is as functional as it is attractive. Renowned among reef hobbyists for its natural pest-hunting abilities, it actively cruises live rockwork in search of nuisance organisms like flatworms, pyramidellid snails, and fireworms. Generally peaceful toward tankmates, it requires a soft sand bed of at least 5 to 7 cm, as it burrows into the substrate at night or when startled to sleep safely.
