Overview
For customers with smaller or nano aquariums, the Honey Gourami is an absolute treasure. Unlike their larger cousins, Honey Gouramis stay very small and are celebrated for their incredibly gentle, non-aggressive disposition. True to their name, they display a beautiful, warm honey-yellow to sunset-orange coloration that glows under quality lighting. They are highly active, curious fish that will use their thread-like feelers to gently explore plants and decorations. They are one of the very few gourami species that can be comfortably housed in pairs or small groups.
