The Kribensis, or "Krib," is a beloved dwarf West African cichlid renowned for its vibrant coloration and fascinating breeding behaviors. Females display a brilliant cherry-red to magenta belly patch, while males exhibit elongated fins and yellow-edged patterns. Highly adaptable and generally peaceful for a cichlid, a bonded pair will happily establish a territory around a coconut cave or terracotta pot in a planted community setup.
