Serenity Ceramic Rings are heavy-duty, high-surface-area biological filter media engineered to maximize gas exchange and foster massive colonies of beneficial nitrifying bacteria. Featuring a durable, geometric design with intricate outer ribs and hollow internal structures, these bio balls allow water and oxygen to flow freely through them without clogging or trapping heavy debris. By accelerating the conversion of toxic ammonia and nitrites into harmless nitrates, they significantly enhance biological activity and water stability in freshwater community tanks, marine sumps, wet/dry trickle systems, and pond filtration setups.
Dosing & Usage Guide:
-
Placement: Ideal for use in wet/dry trickle filters, sump compartments, canister filter baskets, or placed directly in high-flow filter chambers.
-
Maintenance: Completely reusable and long-lasting. Never wash with chlorinated tap water; gently rinse in extracted aquarium water during routine maintenance to preserve beneficial bacterial colonies.
-
Compatibility: 100% inert and safe for all freshwater, planted, marine reef, and pond environments.
