Description
Overview
The YoYo Loach gets its creative name from the distinct, dark metallic-grey markings along its silvery body, which naturally spell out the letters "Y-O-Y-O" on younger specimens. They are incredibly active, highly intelligent, and full of playful energy. Like the Clown Loach, YoYos are top-tier hunters of pest snails and will tirelessly scour the substrate for leftover food. They possess a bold personality and use a specialized defense mechanism to make distinct clicking sounds when excited or feeding. They should be kept in a group of 4 or more to ensure they channel their energetic play safely within their own school.
