Youhihi Medaka (Deep Orange Ricefish)

The Yokihi Medaka is a highly celebrated, classic strain that elevates the standard orange ricefish to a completely new level. Bred for intense, deep burnished-orange to near-crimson pigmentation, these fish look like tiny, glowing embers moving through the water. While stunning from the side in a planted tank, they are intensely striking when viewed from above in outdoor patio ponds, where natural sunlight makes their deep orange hue absolutely radiate against dark green lily pads.
