The White Tail Kole Tang is a rare and highly sought-after relative of the standard Kole Tang, reaching a Max Size of 15 cm. It features the same deep reddish-brown-to-burgundy body but is distinguished by its stark, brilliant white tail and often more intense yellow rings around the eyes. Because of its smaller maximum size and stunning contrast, it is a "holy grail" for many reef keepers. It is a fantastic worker, constantly cleaning the rocks of algae and detritus. Like other Ctenochaetus, it is relatively peaceful toward non-tangs but can be territorial toward other Bristletooth species in smaller tanks.
