The Vrolik’s Angelfish, also frequently known as the Pearlscale Dwarf Angelfish, is a subtle and elegantly colored species that makes a fantastic addition to the marine aquarium. Its body features a beautiful, pearlescent silvery-grey gradient that darkens dramatically toward the rear, culminating in a striking midnight-black tail fin. The operculum and pectoral fin bases are often highlighted with a delicate touch of warm orange or yellow. As an active and curious grazer, this dwarf angel spends its day darting between rockwork formations, picking at microalgae and detritus. They are hardy and highly adaptable, bringing a sophisticated look and lively personality to mature community systems.
