Venezuelan Orange Corydoras (Corydoras venezuelanus)

Overview

The Venezuelan Orange Corydoras is a vibrant, relatively recent sensation in the Australian hobby, loved for its intense, high-contrast color palette. These stunning fish feature a warm, rich apricot-orange body highlight that contrasts beautifully against a deep, dark metallic-turquoise "saddle" patch across their flank and back. They are incredibly active, tight-schooling bottom dwellers that infuse instant warmth into a layout. When kept over a dark substrate under good lighting, their fiery orange tones truly pop, making them an excellent choice for premium aquascapes.
