Turbo Snail (Turbo fluctuosa)

If you are battling a serious outbreak of nuisance algae, the Turbo Snail is the powerhouse heavy-lifter your aquarium needs. These large, robust herbivores act like tiny lawnmowers, quickly clearing massive patches of hair algae, film algae, and diatoms from rocks and glass surfaces. Because of their impressive size and structural strength, it is recommended to secure loose coral frags, as a hungry Turbo snail can easily bulldoze unattached items during its nightly feeding runs.
