Description

The Teco TK 500 introduces the TECOair system, featuring a recessed top conveyor mask that can be rotated to exhaust hot air in one of four directions (front, back, left, or right). This allows the unit to operate inside tight aquarium cabinetry without overheating. Built with an aluminum structural chassis, it features a magnetized front air filter that can be pulled away instantly for toolless washing.

The control probe is placed exclusively inside the water inflow pipe to read the actual, uncooled tank water temperature, eliminating rapid, short-cycling on/off patterns. The TK 500 can be retrofitted with an optional 400W internal heating element to control both cooling and heating cycles via a single interface.
