The Springer's Damselfish is a small but mighty fish, often sought after for its ability to help control flatworm populations in a reef tank. It has a stunning, deep midnight-blue body that can appear almost black in certain lighting, often accented with electric blue highlights around the head and fins. They are a smaller species of damselfish and are generally less aggressive than their larger relatives, though they will still defend their favorite nook. Because of their utility as a "utility fish" and their gorgeous, deep coloration, they are a fantastic addition to reef tanks with plenty of live rock.
