Description

The Sixbar Angelfish is a massive, heavily built large angel species that undergoes a total transformation as it grows. Adults display a striking pale cream-to-tan body split by six vertical, midnight-black bars, accented by a beautiful neon-blue speckling across their body and fins and a stark white band right behind the eye. This powerful, long-lived giant is incredibly hardy and requires a massive tank with excellent filtration to support its fast growth rate and large adult size.
