Serenity Activated Carbon is a fast-acting, highly porous chemical filtration medium designed to deliver crystal-clear water in both freshwater and marine aquariums. Formulated with a massive internal surface area, it rapidly binds and removes dissolved organic compounds, foul odors, yellow water discoloration caused by driftwood tannins, and residual medications following treatments. Included with a convenient mesh netting bag, Serenity Activated Carbon acts as an effective water polisher that prevents nutrient buildup without affecting water hardness, ensuring a safe, polished environment for fish, invertebrates, and live aquatic plants.

Dosing & Usage Guide:

• Dosage: Use 1kg per 500L–1000L of aquarium water (or scale down per filter size).

• Placement: Enclose in the provided mesh media bag and place in a high-flow chamber within your canister filter, sump, or trickle filter.

• Preparation & Maintenance: Rinse thoroughly under cold tap water prior to use to remove shipping dust. Replace every 4 to 6 weeks as the carbon becomes saturated.
