Reticulated Hillstream Loach (Sewellia lineolata)

Overview

The Reticulated Hillstream Loach is a premium novelty species that has exploded in popularity across the Australian aquascaping community. Looking like a miniature freshwater stingray, their highly specialized, flat bodies allow them to suction onto smooth rocks and glass. They feature a breathtaking, intricate network of dark brown mesh-like patterns over a metallic gold background. They are peaceful, non-aggressive algae grazers that are perfectly suited for mature, fast-flowing river setups or high-oxygen nano tanks.
