The Potter's Angelfish is a highly prized Hawaiian endemic dwarf species known for its intricate, high-contrast patterning. Its body features a brilliant, glowing orange-to-saffron background that is intricately marbled with vertical, wavy lines of deep royal blue and purple. The rear portion of the fish transitions into a dark, velvety navy blue. Because it is a slightly more sensitive dwarf angel, it thrives best in an established reef system with plenty of mature live rock surfaces to graze on throughout the day.
