Platinum Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare "Platinum")

Overview

The Platinum Angelfish is a luxury, high-end variety that brings pure, pearlescent elegance to a display aquarium. Thanks to a specialized gene, their bodies completely lack dark pigment and instead express a jaw-dropping, solid mirror-like metallic white-silver sheen. Under high-quality LED lighting, their scales reflect beautiful iridescent hues of soft blue and green. They are highly sought after by advanced aquascapers because their bright, ghostly silhouette stands out dramatically against heavily planted backdrops and dark forest layouts.
