Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus)

Overview

Alongside the Bronze, the Peppered Corydoras is one of the oldest and most resilient fish in the aquarium hobby. They feature a beautiful olive-silver body intricately dappled with irregular dark pewter-black blotches and a shimmering iridescent green overlay. One of their biggest retail selling points is their exceptional temperature tolerance—they prefer cooler water than many tropical fish, making them a premium, bulletproof choice for unheated indoor aquariums, sub-tropical community setups, and fancy goldfish tanks.
