Description

The Magnificent Foxface is a true showstopper among rabbitfish, renowned for its brilliant high-contrast coloration consisting of a stark white body, a dark diagonal facial bar, and vivid metallic red-to-yellow fin margins. Aside from its breathtaking visual appeal, this species is highly valued by aquarists for its relentless appetite for nuisance microalgae and bubble algae. They possess venomous dorsal spines for defense, so care must be taken during tank maintenance. Overall, they are peaceful toward other fish and make superb additions to large reef systems when given ample swimming room.
