LCA Potassium (K) Liquid Fertiliser is made in Australia by Liverpool Creek Aquariums. It supplies potassium, a core macronutrient (the K in NPK) that planted tanks use in large amounts, second only to nitrogen.

Most aquariums do not produce enough potassium on their own, so deficiencies can show up quickly. This concentrated liquid helps support photosynthesis, enzyme activity, and nutrient transport, and is used to prevent leaf decay and keep colour in planted tanks.

Water and system compatibility

• Water: Freshwater aquariums only. Not for marine or reef tanks.
• Livestock: Suitable for community tanks with tropical fish, goldfish, cichlids, snails, and ornamental shrimp.

Dosing and instructions

• Standard dose: Add 1 pump (2 ml) per 100 litres of aquarium water.
• Schedule: Dose 3 times per week (for example Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), with a 50% weekly water change.
• High-tech tanks (high light, injected CO2, and heavy plant mass): Increase to 3 pumps (6 ml) per 100 litres, 3 times per week. This is the maximum recommended dose.
• Low-tech tanks (low light, no CO2): Use the standard dose 1–2 times per week.
