Lamarck's (Black Stripped) Angelfish

The  Lamarck's Angelfish is a standout among marine angelfish for being exceptionally reef-safe and exhibiting clear sexual dimorphism. Displaying a elegant silvery-white body with long horizontal black stripes and delicate black speckling on the tail, males can be distinguished by their black ventral fins. As planktivores, they spend their days swimming actively in the upper and middle water columns rather than picking at corals or invertebrates. They thrive in aquariums with open swimming room and good water movement, making them an ideal addition to full reef displays.
