Koi Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare "Koi")

Overview

The Koi Angelfish is a premium, highly striking color variant that beautifully mimics the appearance of traditional outdoor pond koi. They possess a mottled black-and-white marbled base, which is highlighted by a brilliant, glowing sunset-orange to deep red coloration splashed across their head, crown, and upper back. The intensity of their orange "blush" deepens beautifully when they are fed high-quality, carotenoid-rich foods and kept under premium aquarium lighting. They bring a vibrant, warm splash of color to large community setups.
