The Helfrichi Firefish is a true "holy grail" for many reef keepers, known for its incredible pastel coloration and its rarity in the trade. It features a stunning lavender-to-purple head and a creamy yellow-to-white body, often with bright yellow accents on the fins. Because they are found in much deeper waters than other firefish, they prefer slightly cooler temperatures and dim lighting. They are very delicate and shy, requiring a peaceful environment with non-competitive tankmates. Their small size and exquisite beauty make them the ultimate centerpiece for a high-end nano reef or a dedicated deep-water display.
