The Harlequin Tuskfish is one of the most stunning centerpiece species in the marine hobby, boasting bold orange-and-white vertical stripes accented by metallic blue borders and sharp, electric-blue tusks. Native to the Western Pacific and Australian reefs, they possess a playful yet commanding presence in larger aquariums. Despite their intimidating teeth—used for breaking open hard-shelled prey—they are generally peaceful toward non-crustacean tankmates and do not pick at live corals. They require stable water parameters, high-protein foods, and plenty of swimming room.
