The Gold Head Sleeper Goby, or Blueband Goby, is a striking utility fish known for its brilliant yellow head and a vivid neon blue stripe running just below the eye. The rest of its elongated body is a clean, pearly white. Like the Diamond Watchman, this fish is a dedicated sand-sifter, tirelessly moving substrate to find food. Because of their high metabolism and constant activity, they require an established tank with a deep sand bed and supplemental feedings of meaty frozen foods. They are excellent for larger reef systems but should be monitored to ensure they don't starve once the sand bed is "cleaned."
