The Flagfin Angelfish is a striking reef resident, famous for its vibrant golden-yellow body, electric-blue lips, and distinctive dark spot above the eyes. Also known as the Three-Spot Angelfish, this elegant species adds a brilliant pop of colour and active movement to spacious saltwater displays. They thrive best in mature aquariums featuring plenty of live rock for grazing on microalgae and plenty of caves to seek shelter. While generally peaceful toward non-angelfish tankmates, caution is advised in full reef systems as they may nip at stony corals, clams, and zoanthids.
