The VorTech MP10wQD is the compact entry model in the range, engineered specifically for small nano tanks, shallow frag grids, and desktop marine reef aquariums. Despite its small footprint, it provides the exact same smart wavemaking modes and Mobius scheduling capabilities as its larger siblings. Because it is built for smaller water volumes, it features a tighter glass thickness tolerance and a highly efficient low-wattage motor block.

Model-Specific Attributes

• Nano Aquarium Optimization: The wet-side assembly projects less than 4 centimeters into the display tank. This small profile allows it to be easily hidden behind small rock structures or mounted on the rear wall of all-in-one (AIO) nano aquariums without disrupting the aquascape.

• Strict Glass Gauge Restriction: The internal magnet spacing is fine-tuned explicitly for thin glass grids. Running the MP10 on glass thicker than 9.5mm will cause the magnetic coupling to slip, leading to the wet side decoupling and falling to the bottom.
