Dymax Root Supplements

Dymax Root Supplements are slow-release fertilizer tablets designed to deliver essential macro and micronutrients directly to the root zones of heavy-feeding aquatic plants. Ideal for species that rely heavily on root-based nutrient uptake—such as Amazon Swords (Echinodorus), Cryptocorynes, Vallisneria, and bulb plants—these tablets extract and replenish vital minerals deep within sand or gravel substrates. Buried 3–5 cm below the gravel line, they dissolve slowly to encourage extensive root anchoring and vibrant leaf growth without dissolving into the water column, preventing unwanted algae blooms. Completely safe for freshwater fish, ornamental shrimp, and aquatic invertebrates, they are an essential tool for establishing new aquascapes or revitalizing older, nutrient-depleted gravel beds.

Application & Usage:

• Directions: Insert 1 tablet 3–5 cm deep into the substrate near plant roots (approx. 10 cm spacing between tablets). For large individual focal plants, place 2–3 tablets surrounding the main root base.

• Maintenance: Replenish with fresh tablets every 2–3 months or as needed based on plant growth.
