The Dussumieri Tang, or Eyestripe Surgeonfish, is a breathtaking and massive species reaching a Max Size of 54 cm. Its body is a sophisticated palette of bronzed brown-to-grey, covered in thousands of fine blue wavy lines. It is instantly recognizable by the bold yellow-to-orange band running through its eyes and its brilliant royal blue tail, which is covered in dark spots. Because of their immense size and incredible swimming speed, they are generally only suitable for very large custom installations or public aquaria. They are known for being quite personable and can become very tame, often recognizing their keepers at feeding time.
