Cherry Barb (Puntius titteya)

Overview

For customers who want the beauty of a barb without any of the fin-nipping behavior, the Cherry Barb is the absolute perfect recommendation. They are one of the most peaceful, gentle, and community-friendly barbs in the world. While females display an elegant, subtle honey-brown coloration with a dark horizontal stripe, mature males develop a jaw-dropping, solid cherry-red body that intensifies beautifully when live plants and high-quality foods are present. They are easy to care for, exceptionally hardy, and adapt perfectly to almost any community layout.
