The Bubble Magus Curve Extreme (often designated as HD Curve Extreme) is an upgraded line of internal space-saving in-sump protein skimmers. It retains the signature "wine bottle" curved acrylic body from the classic Curve series, allowing bubbles to rise smoothly through a narrowing neck to maximize organic waste collection.
The primary upgrade in the Extreme range is the deployment of the redesigned, heavy-duty ROCK SP series needle-wheel pumps. These upgraded motors run at a low wattage while pulling a much higher volume of atmospheric air, boosting foam density and acceleration through the internal bubble diffuser plate.

Key Operational Features

In-Body Pump Layout: The Rock SP pump is seated completely inside the footprint of the curved cone chassis. This removes bulky external plumbing attachments, giving it a compact base that fits into tight sump filtration chambers.

Simplified Gate Control: Uses an upgraded gear-action water level adjustment tube. Twisting the top dial lets you gently raise or lower the internal water line to dial in wet or dry skimmate foam production.

Integrated Intake Muffler: A clip-on air silencer sits next to the neck assembly to eliminate the sharp sucking sound produced by high-volume venturi air induction.

Ozone-Safe Pathway: The acrylic construction and internal pump gaskets are fully compatible with ozonizers if you use secondary chemical oxidation loops to clear up water yellowing.
