Boesemani Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia boesem

Overview

The Boesemani Rainbowfish is globally recognized as one of the most visually spectacular freshwater fish in existence and is a premium bestseller in Australian retail shops. They feature a stunning, high-contrast "half-and-half" color palette: the front half of their deep body is a cool, metallic violet-blue, which abruptly transitions into a blazing, fiery sun-orange on the back half. While juveniles can look somewhat plain and grey in a bare store holding tank, mature males in a well-lit home aquarium develop an intensely vibrant display that makes them an unbeatable, showstopping centerpiece group.
