The Blueline Triggerfish, or Rippled Trigger, is a heavy-bodied and beautiful species reaching a Max Size of 55 cm. Juveniles are yellow with blue spots, but as they mature, they turn a deep brown-to-purple with shimmering electric-blue wavy lines covering the entire body and fins. They are extremely powerful and can be quite destructive as they grow, often blowing water at the sand to uncover prey. Because of their size and aggressive nature toward other fish, they are best suited for large predatory tanks with robust filtration and plenty of space.
