Also known as the Blue Devil Damselfish, the Blue Sapphire is one of the most intensely colored fish in the world. It features a solid, neon sapphire-blue body that seems to glow. In some variations, the tail may be yellow or clear (often indicating a female or a specific regional variant). While their beauty is undeniable, they are famous for their "feisty" personality. They are bold, territorial, and will often claim the entire aquarium as their own if they are the first fish introduced. They are best suited for tanks with larger, more assertive companions who won't be intimidated by their sapphire-colored bravado.
