The Blue Ring Angelfish—also known as the Annularis Angelfish—is a spectacular large showpiece prized for the glowing, curved neon-blue lines that sweep across its rich amber-brown body. A prominent blue ring located just above its gill cover gives this species its name, while a striking white tail fin provides a brilliant contrast. As they mature from unassuming striped juveniles into majestic adults, they require massive aquariums with heavy filtration and plenty of rock arches to accommodate their bold presence and large size.
