Product overview
Aqua One Tropical Conditioning Salts add minerals and electrolytes to freshwater. Tap water is often low in these, and plants and fish take more out over time.
Use as a regular tonic, or when moving fish, settling them into a new tank, or after a water change. It may also support the slime coat.
Key features
- Minerals: Replaces electrolytes used by fish through skin and gills.
- After stress: Useful after transport, acclimation, or a water change.
- Slime coat: Helps fish keep a normal mucus layer.
- Powder: Dissolves in water. Mix in a jug first so salt does not sit on the sand.
- No extras: No colourants, binders, or anti-caking agents listed.
Water and system compatibility
- Water: Freshwater only. Tropical and coldwater tanks. Not for marine or reef tanks.
- System: Community aquariums, planted tanks, and holding or quarantine tubs.
Pack sizes
| Size | Treats (at 2 g / 10 L) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 100 g | Up to 500 l | Single tank, regular use |

Directions
Standard dose is 2 g per 10 L. Dissolve the full amount in a jug of aquarium water, then add that mix to the tank. Dose only for the volume of new water you add. These salts stay in the water; they do not evaporate. The product may raise pH a little, so test after use.
Always follow directions on product packaging.
