While the "Plant" version focuses heavily on targeted photosynthetically active wavebands for dense foliage, the Tropical model prioritizes a warm, visually striking color balancing matrix (averaging a crisp, clean ~7,700 Kelvin output). This color blend uses a combination of white, blue, and specialized red/green accent diodes to bring out the rich reds, iridescent blues, and deep greens on tropical community fish, while still providing ample baseline energy to sustain low-to-medium light aquatic plants like mosses and ferns.
The system features an integrated top-mounted touch-switch controller providing full dimming control and spectrum selection across 3 independent light channels. To safeguard the internal circuit boards from evaporation and splashing in open-top setups, the entire underside LED panel is sealed in a continuous protective silicone layer.
