Aqua Illumination (AI) Blade Coral Glow

The Aqua Illumination Blade Coral Glow is a specialized smart strip LED lighting system built with one uncompromising mission: to aggressively fluoresce corals and make their colors "pop." While the Coral Grow model handles heavy lifting for growth PAR, the Coral Glow targets the deep actinic spectrum. It concentrates on the lower ranges of blue and upper UV wavelengths (400–430 nm) to trigger the true fluorescent proteins within coral tissue.

Because it is an actinic supplement light, it is ideal for filling in structural shadows alongside existing LED pendants (like Radions or Hydras) or pairing directly with Blade Grow strips in a recommended 2:1 (Grow to Glow) or balanced 1:1 ratio.

The fixture features fanless, completely silent passive cooling, an IP66 waterproof rating to protect against heavy saltwater humidity, and custom-designed EdgeField Optics. These proprietary lenses project a ultra-wide 95-degree spread that evenly blankets the aquascape with uniform light mixing while maintaining a crisp, natural shimmer.

Like all modern AI gear, control is handled entirely via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi using the myAI or Mobius mobile apps, with native support for the Neptune Systems MXM module for centralized Apex computer control.

The fixture scales using repeating LED cluster groups (roughly one cluster per foot of length), packing 24 tightly spaced specialized diodes per group:

• 6 — 430nm (Deep Violet/Actinic)

• 3 — 415nm (Near-UV)

• 3 — 405nm (UV)
