API Melafix treats bacterial infections in aquarium fish and helps damaged tissue recover. Open wounds, frayed fins, and handling injuries can leave fish open to bacterial disease.
This botanical liquid uses tea tree extract (Melaleuca) to treat active infections and support the regrowth of damaged tissue and fin rays. It can also be used when adding new fish to the tank.
Suitable for fresh and saltwater usage.

Dosing and instructions
Always double check dosage and direction on product packaging

Standard dose: 5 ml per 38 litres (5 ml per 10 US gallons) of aquarium water.

Active infection: Dose daily for 7 days. On day 8, do a 25% water change. Repeat the course if needed.

New fish: Dose daily for 3 days after introducing newcomers.
Tip: Remove activated carbon or other chemical filter media before dosing so the treatment stays in the water.
Product notice
Slight foaming on the water surface is normal. It comes from the botanical oils and clears on its own without harming fish.
