Albino Tiger Barb (Puntigrus tetrazona "Albino")

Overview

Rounding out the popular Tiger Barb trio, the Albino Tiger Barb swaps out the dark black stripes for unique, creamy-white vertical bands across a warm, pastel peach-apricot body. Their bright red eyes and deep orange fins pop brilliantly against dark aquarium backgrounds or black sand substrates. They possess the same bulletproof hardiness and playful, highly active behavior as standard Tiger Barbs. To keep their feisty, fin-nipping instincts contained, they should always be housed in groups of 6 or more alongside other fast-moving tank mates.
