Canary Wrasse

The Canary Wrasse, or Yellow Wrasse, is a favorite among hobbyists for its brilliant, solid yellow coloration and its beneficial role in pest control. This species is famous for hunting down unwanted aquarium pests like pyramidellid snails and flatworms, making it as functional as it is beautiful. They are generally peaceful and get along well with a wide variety of tankmates, though they do require a deep sand bed for sleeping at night.
