LCA Iron Liquid Fertiliser is made in Australia by Liverpool Creek Aquariums. Iron is a micronutrient plants need to make chlorophyll, which drives photosynthesis.
Without a steady supply of available iron, growth can stall and colour can fade. This concentrated chelated iron is formulated to resist oxidation in the water column so plants can use it for longer. It is used to keep colour in demanding stem plants and to help prevent iron-related tissue problems.

Water and system compatibility
- Water: Freshwater aquariums only. Not for marine or reef tanks.
- Livestock: Suitable for community tanks with tropical fish, cichlids, snails, and ornamental shrimp.
- pH: Best up to a baseline of pH 7.5.
Dosing and instructions
- Standard dose: Add 1 pump (2 ml) per 100 litres of aquarium water.
- Schedule: Dose 3 times per week (for example Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), with a 50% weekly water change.
- High-tech tanks (high light, injected CO2, and lots of red plants): Increase to 3 pumps (6 ml) per 100 litres, 3 times per week. This is the maximum recommended dose.
- Low-tech tanks (low light, no CO2): Use the standard dose 1–2 times per week.
