Overview
The Habrosus Corydoras (frequently sold in Australia as the Salt and Pepper Nano Cory) is another fantastic micro-species for dwarf tank enthusiasts. While they remain just as small as the Pygmy Cory, Habrosus Corys differ because they behave exactly like a full-sized Corydoras—spending 100% of their time actively snuffling, sifting, and digging through the bottom substrate rather than swimming in open water. They feature a beautiful, dappled pattern of dark olive-black blotches over a shimmering silver body. They are peaceful, low-maintenance, and a premier companion for freshwater shrimp colonies.
