Overview
The Pacific Blue Eye is a charming, highly popular native micro-rainbowfish found in coastal streams right along eastern Australia. They get their fun name from their striking, glowing electric-blue eyes. Males develop beautiful, elongated, wing-like fins edged in crisp black and bright yellow, which they continuously flip and wave like little flags to impress females. They are incredibly energetic, playful top-to-midwater swimmers that thrive in schools. Because they are highly adaptable and completely peaceful, they are a massive retail favorite for nano tanks and patio ponds.
